FAQs regarding J.B Alumni Association (JBPAA) & Committee

You simply need to send us an email on jbpalumni@gmail.com with you name when you were in school and year of passing out. We will check with our database and let you know if you are part of it. In case you are not, it’s an easy process we will send you the form which you can fill online and a link to make the payment.

It comprises of the amazing women who have walked through the halls of JB Petit in their formative years. All ex students who have been at some point a part of the school and signed up to be members of the association.

Yes if you are a member you have paid under either the basic scheme or the silver category. This is a contribution towards the functioning and the goals of the association so it is important that each member makes the payment.
If you are a member you have made a payment. You simply need to send us an email on jbpalumni@gmail.com with your name when in school and year of passing out to verify.
The funds of the association are used for the running of it like it’s website and admin related functions along with the support we bring to the school through recognition of teachers and staff who have spend 25 years in school and capital expenditure we may make for the school on behalf of the association. The association consists of all the members who register and make the contribution to be a part of it. Being an association member entitles you to information about the activities the association conducts and invitation to events.

The committee is what runs the association. Headed by the chair persons, it is the managing body of the association. Being a part of it will give you the ability to shape what the association does and influence how it can support you the alumni better.
The biggest contribution we need is your participation. Come for events we put out, engage with the members and allow these connections to take you back to the memories of school and it’s ethos we all cherish. We regularly put out ways in which you can engage and contribute. We look forward to hearing from you!
For the year 2024 the committee has made a plan to meet 6 times. Every other month on the first Saturday of the month. We will be sharing these meetings closer to the date and hope to have those of you who wish to engage come in numbers! The purpose of these meetings is to plan larger meetings where people can join to meet other JBites and feel part of the community. We will announce such events soon.. stay tuned!
Membership Information

The J B Petit alumni association has two memberships. A basic one for 2,000/- and a silver one for 15,000/-. A silver membership is more of a larger donation towards the JB fund in acknowledgment of the benefits received from a JB education over 10-12 years. Tangible benefits to silver members accrue during alumni programs/events when certain complimentary/additional tickets or discounts are given to silver members.
